In what way Vanessa Hudgens is similar to Gabriella Montez (her High School Musical character)?

well they are both kinda shy, but not once you get to know them. i think there are other similarities that vanessa would know, but none of us know her that well or knew what it was like to play gabriella. but i'd say gabriella is more "nerdy" maybe and definatly more safe and shy
