Was the NAACP wrong about there being racist a element Tea Party or just wrong for saying there is?

And when did the NAACP "denounce" the Black Panthers? Is this not as racist a comment as Roper's: "We gonna have ta kill some crackers! We gonna have ta kill us some cracker babies!" Was it not only racist but illegal for the Black Panters to stroll around a polling place with nightsticks and intimidate white voters? Has the NAACP denounced this?
