Think this would work?

I've come to realize that a lot of young adults(ladies and gents alike) dont know how to cook. I've played with the idea of giving home cooking lessons one on one with people to get them more knowlegable of what goes on in thier home kitchens. especially young married couples or students/young adults looking to impress thier mate. My idea would be that they buy the ingredients(Id join on shopping to show them how to choose best produce, ect) and then show them basic skills in the kitchen, kitchen safety and so on. I'd charge $30/hour. does this sound like it might be a good idea, even if it's just for a little while to see how it sparks interest? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!
